The ASCDC Defense Win of the Year Award honors outstanding achievements in defense practice, showcasing the most impactful victories that shape the legal landscape. Could your case or a colleague's case earn this prestigious recognition?
Award Criteria:
- Open exclusively to ASCDC members.
- Submissions include non-trial defense wins from the 2024 calendar year.
- Additional nominations (100-500 words) are welcome.
Selection Process:
Three finalists will be chosen based on the nature of the case, the strength of arguments, and the case’s contribution to defense practice or novel legal issues. From these finalists, one extraordinary case will receive the 2024 Defense Win of the Year. Nominations will be reviewed by the Executive and Awards Committees to ensure the highest standards of recognition.
Trial Lawyer of the Year
The ASCDC Trial Lawyer of the Year Award honors exceptional achievements in defense litigation. This prestigious accolade celebrates the skill, dedication, and impact of trial attorneys who set the standard for excellence in our profession.
Award Criteria:
- Open exclusively to ASCDC members.
- Nominations include existing defense verdict submissions from the 2024 calendar year.
- Additional nominations (100-500 words) are welcome.
- Only one submission is allowed per trial attorney nominee.
Selection Process:
Three finalists will be selected based on the details and significance of the trial(s) submitted for consideration. From these finalists, one outstanding attorney will be honored as the 2024 Trial Lawyer of the Year. Nominations will be reviewed by the Executive and Awards Committees, ensuring a thorough and fair evaluation of all submissions.
